PRAISE NOTES AND PRAYER REQUESTS

October 2008

Greetings, friends. the month of October is ending and we thank the Lord for all He has led us to accomplish in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ in Europe and on this side of the ocean. During this month several of our churches in Europe conducted their thanksgiving services, thanking the Lord for the harvest and all of His provisions and unfailing love.

Andrew B. writes about conducting a fruitful leadership session in Poland with Dr. Robert Kuest from California. Our friend from Belarus writes about their readiness to launch a new church in his city, but is facing legal opposition from authorities. He asks us to pray for this situation. Here at home base in the Toronto area we had an important Board meeting last week during which time the plan to formalize our current cooperative relationship between GMM and Impact Canada was confirmed. Jim Tune, one of GMM's board members, is to form a steering committee for a new entity called “Impact Ministry Group” which will facilitate a smooth succession and provide a needed platform for our future administrative changes.

We thank the Lord for all His provisions, helpful advice from our Board and direction in which God is leading us, as we continue to minister to His Church in Europe until He comes.

We know there are challenges before us, therefore, we ask you to remember us in your prayers. We need His wisdom and strength to be faithful to Him to the very end.
